Horizontal World

I know how very lucky I am but week one is now turning into week two and I am having a hard time getting quite used to this horizontal world. I am not at all used to sitting down during the day let alone lying down. It feels oh so very strange to lie so much and have a leg up all the time. I am not terminal this is a mere inconvenience and yet as I say it is such a new experience. Working on my feet for eight hours a day five days a week you just take so much for granted. Suddenly the world around me looks oh so very different.
