I have been reading all these statistics in a number of my favorite magazines and it just blows my mind. This one from a recent Body and Soul magazine.
An average shoe can take 1000 years to decompose if it lands into (no pun intended) a landfill.
Is this possible? Is that not awful. How many shoes have I filled up landfills with since 1964?
