The trends for fall 2009

As far as the eye can see it is statement pieces. Chunky! Both in terms of knit wear and jewelry. Millinery is making a comeback and many of the fashion pieces are easy and elegant.

One of my favorite people this fall that has inspired me is makeup guru Pat McGrath. She is all over the runways even as makeup artist for D&G fall show and many others. Bold color, not for the faint of heart, she uses a ton of MAC products. One of her tricks is black lipstick under red lipstick and color and black eye shadow combos. Very dramatic.
