The Secret of the Old Clock 1930 Nancy Drew

Hey there, on this sunny beautiful fall Sunday. There is so much going on in my little fashion head I am not sure where to start.

Antiques. I love and adore anything and everything that hearkens back to the old days. I just think that is so cool to bring the old vision into the new aesthetic. I love this circa 1930 Nancy Drew look complete with cloche. Would it not be fun to model an updated version of this look. Rose cloche by Ellen Christine Millinery www.ellenchristine.com

I found a great outerwear option to be worn well before the snow blows, this cashmere piece from Lisa Brochu and Lauren Walker of BrochuWalker. Luxurious.

I have to stand on my little soap box this week. We are going to continue to find fashion that has an Eco-conscience. We will recylce, reuse and reduce along the way. Check out this youngin from Portland ME- Brook DeLorme www.brookthere.com. This cool dress is organic cotton at a mere $130.00 retail price. Love it!

Hi Lisa,

I was delighted to see your post about Brook There, as I handle the company's PR. Thank you for your kind words! I hope everything is going well for you at Eileen Fisher- I love that line!

Kindly,

thank you so much for bringing one of my cloches to your blog.....I love that it's about Nancy Drew. I had double copies of every one.
By the way, that little rose cloche is our most popular model, and it's only available online. In the shop we do variations on this theme.
come and visit!
