Our stores in Chestnut Hill, Copley Square, Wellesley and Hingham will have the same fall product available for sale this coming weekend. Come out on Saturday July 19 th for a shopping visit. Please do call ahead to make an appointment with me for some one on one customer care.

Fall is still all about metallic shine. Look for ways to work that into your style with shoes, bags, baubles and other accessories to accompany your base for fall.

I have listed sites for three great options for Eco-minded shopping. Visit the sites to find great product.

This week I had good friends take me under their 'couple' wings and give me a great week of entertainment.

I would like to mention first that bold action on climate change did not seem to occur at the G8 summit, that was the news on NPR at the beginning of the week, and then I saw Nancy’s hubby Robert and his photo show of Antarctica - South Pole. What I saw was amazing. I was in awe of the ice, the whales, the penguins and the scientists working diligently while Robert manages to keep the vessel moving. It was inspiring and eye opening at the same time. We must embrace our planet. Please think about carbon offset or cut your carbon considerably. I can assure you after viewing the photos that global warming is not a joke.

I also had the good fortune of being invited out with my colleague Joan and her partner Elsio. We just had the best time at the 2008 Tito Puente Latin Music Series at O’Day Park in the South End. We saw Gregorio Uribe & Orchestra ( He is Columbian). The band was not to be believed. I am returning next week for the Berklee Latin Jazz All-Stars. The party starts Thursday July 17th at 7pm. http://www.iba-etc.org/
