I know Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby was last spring (May 2013) been and gone but I just saw it a month or so ago and I cannot stop thinking about it. Plus I have been re-watching Downton Abby just getting into the 20s and Mr. Selfridge just on the cusp of 1920 as well and I just love all the era.
The costumes by Catherine Martin and Miuccia Prada in this film were amazing. The entire adaptation of the novel for this film was amazing. I loved the styles and the dresses and the jewelery. It obviously inspired a ton of the Spring 2013 fashion and it just is such fun to watch and emulate for this coming holiday season. Get inspired re-watch Gatsby by gosh a great fun fashion film.
