In December 2010, I purchased a piece from the Vincent Wil Hawley Fine Jewelry collection in wood. Just a lovely piece & I was going to gift it, however the receiver could not see the beauty in it. I kept it for myself because I love the feel of the natural wood against my skin. I love it's smooth finish. These pieces are so special.
As is often the case I am way ahead of the style curve Marie Claire ran a piece on page 28 in the February 2011 issue called faux bois. They featured a favorite designer of mine Rodarte. They were inspired by their native California redwoods...
Once again good style is like a scent...I can find it and follow it anywhere...
